We were(still are!!) trvl enthusiasts, who love to venture in an unorthodox way to absorb the beauty in its raw form. What we had in common is that all of us loved Nature. Back in the days, we had to plan weeks ahead of our trips. Gosh!! we used to have board meetings on weekends just to plan a simple vacation with outdoor activities. We felt that there is a need of a platform, where the traveller can have the opportunity to explore the trip rather than only touring. And which can be available at a click. On a trip to Kalimpong, we met a guy(who had 10 years of experience in this field) who liked our concept and join hands in this unique adventure. That is how the trvlhimalayas got into existence. Slowly along the way, many enthusiastic explorers have joined in “embracing the journey of the mystic Himalayas”. Though, our Himalayan journey has just begun with places like Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Sikkim, Dooars and Bhutan. However, in the upcoming years, we will include places like Northeast India, Himachal-Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Leh-Ladakh Nepal and the entire Himalayan Region(including International Himalayan Regions).

An ex-lawyer by profession & a musician by heart, who loves to explore new places, authentic
food, culture, old structures and capture them on camera. Previously he has been advocating for
others(mostly humans) in the court of Law, after taking an exile now he is advocating the
preservation of nature and its products. Mostly venture in the jungle but he has to live in Siliguri
and Kolkata, India against his will. He plays guitar to solace his venturous soul.
Uniqueness - An analyst, visionary in the field of Adventure & sustainable eco -
tourism.
An experienced, calm leader who has work experience of more than 10 years. who trekked
Mt.Everest base camp in 2008. He has truly nurtured the very concept of trvlHimalayas and gave
an unique identity by bringing multiple innovative ideas in a single mould. A true visionary
towards empowering the rural ecotourism in a sustainable way. For the social formality, he
pretends to reside in Algarah, Kalimpong, India. But he’s soul ventures into the woods.
Uniqueness: A family man, multilinguist, a loving companion, brother and friend to be with.
Another experienced member of our team (both in the work field and married life!). He has the
experience of more than 8 years especially in the Kalimpong and Darjeeling region. He is an avid
bird watcher and a nature lover. Being a localist he has a deep knowledge of famous Neora Valley
National Park and woods surrounding it. Previously he has travelled extensively while working
abroad. Now he travels for work and travels back home to his lovely family. Though he lives in
lava, India. Metaphorically, he can be found in the midst of Lava, Algarah and Kalimpong (in free
time).
Uniqueness: A true naturalist, rooted to his soil, and a happy soul.
He is the papa johns of our team. An enterprise and lively person who has an extensive knowledge
of local pants(includes medical plants). He doesn't have any collegiate degree, he has gathered his
knowledge by working in the field throughout his life. The most admirable thing is he is always
keen to learn and share his knowledge to the guests. He is from Bara Mangwa, India (Mangmaya as
locally known).
Uniqueness: Polite gentleman, knowledgeable and dedicated towards his profession.
An energetic young gun of our team. He has 3 years of experience of leading the path for national
and international guests to the Sandakphu and Phalut. Guests often get surprised at their first
meetup, but a book can not be judged by its cover, you can easily observe his passion while
exchanging words with him. We are still in the process to decode his scale of enthusiasm. For
people, he lives in Darjeeling, India. But his soul is in a committed relationship with the high
mountains.
Uniqueness: Rooted to his soil, and his culture, a true care take of nature.
The serious but the coolest dude of our team, he loves his culture and shares it with open arms. He
runs a homestay business and has an acute knowledge of local plants and trees. This native is also
an adventure loving person. Lives with his family in Kalimpong, India.
Uniqueness: Smart, good communicative skill and purely adventure lover.
The smartest dude of our team, who loves his job and takes it very seriously. This adventure loving
gentleman encourages others to have the same experience though as a tremendous love and respect
towards Mother Nature he prioritizes safety first. Besides that he has his homestay business in
kalimpong. He lives and lets his adventurous dream fly in Kalimpong, India.
Uniqueness: Happy, polite, engaging soul and a true representative of the land of happiness (Bhutan).
An accomplished, unswerving, friendly owner and founder of Bhutan Unshakable Tours and
Treks. A 5 years of in depth experience has earned him a lot of positive compliments and
determination to come up with his own travel company. He decided to start a unique Travel
