At the threshold town of Neoravally National Park, You will be host by Mrs Tenzing Uden Bhutia. A wonderful humbled homemaker with a great sense of humour, who loves to interact with the guests. Mrs Bhutia lives with her beautiful family and looks after her guest.
The homestay is located at an arm’s distance from the Lava bus stand. As the homestay built on a rooftop and because of this advantage, the guests don’t have to bother about the endless sound of honking vehicles or of the crowd noise and have a birds-eye view of the hamlet and the surrounding Mountains. From the rooftop, you can see the Kagyu Thek Chen Ling Monastery one largest Buddhist monastery in Darjeeling and Kalimpong district where the mountains standing behind as the watchtower, at the opposite of that you can see the lush green wet alpine trees of fir, pine and birch etc of Neoravalley National park nurturing the area since ages. Lava is one of the few places in West Bengal to receive snow in winter and if you are lucky, then you can witness snowfall because of it and it looks entirely different at that time of year.
The host has 3 rooms to offer and affordable options to choose from-
Bird-Watching, Nature Exploration, Hiking & Trekking in the surrounded woods. Neora Valley National Park trekking. (chargeable Respectively)
